Cross Card

I love making this type of card. I think it goes well for sympathy as well as Christmas or Easter cards.

Card Recipe: So Saffron Cardstock, Sage Shadow Cardstock, Spring Fling Designer Series Paper, Word Window Punch, White Basic Eyelets

February CD Calender Page

I love the way this calander page turned out. But, then again browns and pinks are my favorite color combinations. We did this page at this months Hostess Club.

Page Recipe: Always Stamp Set, Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Berry Bliss Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, Pretty in Pink Classic Ink, Clear Embossing Powder, Theater Ribbon, and Pretties Kit.

CASE Swap

Here are the cards that I received from a recent CASE swap that I participated in. I think these cards really came out great. I am hoping that seeing them in person will help promote the stamp sets that they feature.
All recipes for the following cards can be found in the back of the current Spring ~ Summer Idea Book and Catalog 2008 from Stampin' Up!

Regionals Page

I did not go to regionals this year, but I did send a part of me with my upline. 23 little parts of me to be exact.

I made this page using the same design as the page that I made for my 6x6 swap. Of course, I used different paper, and embellishments.

Here is the page that I sent along:

I ran out of the turquoise ribbon, and had to use other color that I had here at home. I think this swap actually looks better than the one above. The ribbon I used here is from the Theater ribbon pack.

Page Recipe: Old Olive Cardstock, Tempting Turquoise Cardstock, YoYo Yellow Cardstock, Purely Pomegranate Cardstock, Confetti Simply Scrappin Kit, Bitty Birthday Stamp Set, Basic Black Classic Ink Pad, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 Circle punch, Tag and Small Tag punch, and either Tempting Turquoise 1/4" grosgrain ribbon or Theater Ribbon Originals.

6x6 Swap

I'm hosting a 6x6 swap on SCS. The swap closes next week, and I am hoping I have no flakers. Because of this fear I always make one swap for each group I host. If there is a flaker, I have a swap to "angel in"; but, if there is no flakers, I send the extra swap to my players as an "thank you".

For Group 1 I made this page:

Page Recipe: Gable Green Cardstock, Apricot Appeal Cardstock, Regal Rose Cardstock, Spring Fling Designer Series Paper, Polka Dots and Paisley Stamp Set, Pretties Kit

For Group 2 I made this page:

Page Recipe: Not Quite Navy Cardstock, Bashful Blue Cardstock, Creamy Caramel Cardstock, Blush Blossom Cardstock, Baroque Border Standard Wheel, Creamy Caramel Ink, sheer ribbon (not SU!)

I will post the rest of the swaps once I get them all in.

Black and White Card Swap

I am currently hosting a black and white swap. The rules are simple enough. You are only allowed to us black and white products from SU!

Here is my swap (I could not get the scan to sharpen up. I think it scanned blurry on the one corner due to the pretties pearl. Sorry!):

Card Recipe: Whisper White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Baroque Border Standard Wheel, Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set, Basic Black Ink, Spiral Punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Key Tag Punch, and Pretties Kit

The swap has a couple more weeks before it is due. Once I swap everything out, I will post the other cards.

Bling Swap

Ok, I admit it, I am addicted to swaps. Right now I am currently participating in 2 of them. I am hosting 3 of them and I just got done with swaps for leadership. Yes, between school and making swaps I really don't have a life.... it's true.

This is my contribution to a Bling Swap on SCS:

Card Recipe: Brocade Blue Cardstock, So Saffron Cardstock, Sage Shadow Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Spring Fling Designer Series Paper, All Through the Year Stamp Set, Brocade Blue Classic Ink Pad, So Saffron Ink, Baroque Border Standard Wheel, Corner Rounder Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1/16" Handheld circle punch, 1 3/8" circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, and Pretties Kit.

The rules to this swap:
1. Must use current items.
2. Must use at least two layers.
3. Must make it BLING. (You were allowed to use any item that SU! carries as long as it blinged.)

As soon as I get this swap back, I will post the rest of the cards.
